Mrs. Ratna Chakraborty

Mrs. Ratna Chakraborty has vast experience in the field of nursing in India and in USA. She worked as nursing teacher in RAKCON, School of Nursing in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Chief of Nursing and Principal of Nursing in National Heart Institute, Delhi. In USA, she worked as nursing educator, registered nurse (specialty Oncology), nursing incharge and preceptor for new graduate registered nurses. Lastly, she worked as Nursing Director in New Jersey. She has a total of around 37 years of professional experience in nursing practice, academic research and administration. She obtained M.Sc. (Medical-Surgical Nursing) from Delhi University, Master of Art in Sociology from Kota Open University and Oncology certificate from USA. She is recipient of various awards and honour like Certificate of Excellence in Nursing Education, nominee of Morton Samuel Award etc. in USA. She presented several papers at national and international forums and worked as project head.
