Prof. Tinku Basu

Prof. Tinku Basu is Dy. Director in Amity Institute of Nanotechnology. Prof. Tinku Basu
has done Graduation in chemistry from Presidency College, and Int. M.Tech in Polymer
Science and Engineering from Calcutta University. She did her Ph.D from IIT, Kharagpur in
the year 1993. She has done her Post DOC in National Physical Laboratory, Pusa in Delhi.
She has published 50 papers in peer reviewed International Journals and she has attended
more than 25 National and International Conferences from Amity. She has been awarded as a
Visiting Researcher from Global Center of Excellence Programme from Japan Government in 2011 and 2014. She has filed 13 complete patents. She has delivered number of invited talks in different National and International  conferences. Prof. Basu has received the Paper of the year 2013 Award of from From King Abdulaziz City for Science and technology in 2013. Her research area is Nano biosensor, Nanocomposites for Industrial Applications in high barrier packaging material, Metal organic framework(MOF), self assembled monolayers, surface modification of nano materials and cyto toxicity of nano materials. She has written two books on "Text Book of Engineering Chemistry" : Pragati Prakashan and quot; Synthesis of Nanostructured conducting polyaniline and application in Biosensors: : LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing (2014-01-22) – ISBN-13: 978-3-659-19425-2.
